The Office of the Virginia Secretary of Natural Resources, through DEQ, has released the Virginia’s Draft Phase III Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) for meeting water quality standards within the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries (rivers & streams).
The Phase III Chesapeake Bay WIP outlines a broad range of actions that can be taken by federal, state and local governments, wastewater utilities, agriculture and forestry, landowners and homeowners, rural and urban communities, and general public to achieve water quality standards.
DEQ seeks public comment on the Draft Phase III Chesapeake Bay WIP.
