The average age of the counties and cities within our planning district is almost 230 years, so it is not surprising that the maintenance and development of vital public infrastructure is a priority for localities. The CVPDC assists our member jurisdictions towns, cities, and counties with identifying needs, developing projects, obtaining funding, and administering a wide variety of projects including:
- Drinking water filtration, storage, and distribution systems
- Sanitary sewer collection and treatment facilities
- Stormwater management
- Sidewalks and streetscapes
- Parks, trails, and public spaces
