The CVPDC has received a $100,000 Community Improvement Grant from Virginia Housing!
The CVPDC, in partnership with the City of Lynchburg and Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford and Campbell counties, have received a $100,000 Community Improvement Grant from Virginia Housing to execute a Regional Housing Market Analysis. The study will evaluate the area’s challenging housing supply and demand dynamics to outline targeted solutions to ensure a balanced blend of housing options that meet the needs of the region, with special emphasis on creation of affordable housing options that meet the needs of low, workforce and senior populations. This study will be executed with a wide range of stakeholders. We look forward to sharing more as the project begins in earnest in mid-spring 2022.
