Once again, area residents can enjoy short films by filmmakers from around the world and central and southwest Virginia. The Bike Shorts Film Festival is not about scenic bike rides. This is a film festival about stories – thrilling heists, love gone wrong,
love gone right, funny tales, visual animation – that just happen to have a bicycle somewhere in the film. Just as bicycles area practical tools to help get from place to place each day, the Bike Short Film Festival highlights stories where bicycles are used in service of great storytelling – from Italy, Germany, Brazil, India, England and right here in Virginia.
